We can’t keep waiting for an independence group to start campaigning, so I formed a Third Party Advertising organization (TPA). Let’s get a visible presence out there now!

Our organization is campaigning to encourage Alberta citizens to choose Option #2 on the October 19th referendum question “Should Alberta remain a province of Canada or should the Government of Alberta commence the legal process required under the Canadian Constitution to hold a binding provincial referendum on whether or not Alberta should separate from Canada?”
The “Forever Canada” campaign is lapping us while the independence campaign is stalled. It’s embarrassing. We are losing the race before it starts. We need a sign campaign to show a presence in neighbourhoods, and we can get them out within days. We also must get some video advertising out there to reach new audiences.
It won’t cost much, but we need to raise some funds for this. You can donate to the Pathway to Independence campaign through the links below. If you are contributing more than $50, we need your information to remain compliant with Elections Alberta regulations. Please include it with a note on your donation. That means your address and a way to contact you in case we have any information wrong. Elections Alberta will eventually post who donated $250 or more to TPAs over the campaign, but they don’t share your contact information. You can email that information separately as well, so we can update the records.
You must also be a resident of Alberta.
The goal is to get lawn signs placed within a week and to get a paid advertising presence out there to reach the undecided.
This site will disclose all revenue and expenditures regularly (but will never share your personal information). Transparency is a must.
We will be getting signs across the whole province as they are printed and as volunteers distribute them. Fill out the form to get on the list if you haven’t yet. We will get one to you ASAP!

Use the link below to donate, request a sign, or to volunteer. To donate with a credit card, click on the image and select the amount to contribute.
To etransfer, a sign, or to volunteer, you will need to scroll down a bit further in the link to complete the contact form and see Etransfer instructions.

There are many groups that will be doing great things to move us closer to a vote for independence. We can’t keep dragging our feet waiting for them, though. The Alberta way is to step up and get things done. That’s what I am doing, and I am asking for your help with it.
Watch the video below to see more details on what I am up to and how to help.
I’ll volunteer
Corey I would like to do stickers and posters you can contact me. Not the email provided below.
Corey I will volunteer to put up posters and any stickers you may have lawn signs too. Please contact me at the email provided below.
Cory, I think I can help with the signs.
Hi Cory my husband I would be happy to volunteer.
I will volunteer!
Excellent I will be donating.
Hi Cory,
I would like to purchase a lawn sign and to volunteer. What do you think of having pop up information tables on blvds, at events around Edmonton, Calgary and Red deer?
All the best.
Robert
I’m in Red Deer. I want to buy a sign. I hope they are affordable as I’m a disabled senior.
Best regards from a canvasser collecting signatures. Love your podcasts
Regarding your video ads.. My idea is for Independence supporters to make short videos of why they want a referendum and then forward them to you and have your video producer use these videos in the ads he is making.
Is there a way to get these lawn signs in Northern Alberta? We have the Forever Canada people coming through on Friday and it sure would be nice to have something to hand out to people. It would also be nice if we could have all lawn signs the same across Alberta with the same message.
Hi Dorothy,
I am not sure if we will get them up there in time for Friday, but we will definitely get them to every corner of the province as soon as we can.
I will add your name to the list so you get emails to update where the signs are going to be available.
I would love a sign
You can fill out a form to get on the list for us to get one out to you below:

I have an idea for independence advertising. Last year I saw a video of a pub in the UK called Ministry of Truth and they projected messages on the exterior building. Definitely eye catching. Projectors used on exterior buildings of business establishments.?

Any idea when you are going to be in the westlock area with signs or someone to contact here who might have already
Good morning,
Thank you soooo much for stepping up and organizing this. I am the regional leader for Athabasca/Barrhead/Westlock. I would like 200 signs for my group. My area is from Swan Hills, across Athabasca County, south to Barrhead and east of Smoky Lake. I thought it would be easier to send to one person and I can distribute to my Chapter Leaders, down to the volunteers. Since we are so far from you I thought if it is easier I can get a quote from our local sign guy and see if I can get the same price as you are getting. Please email me for my cell # to discuss. Again, thank you 🙂
Our local guys is too expensive. Can you get some up to Northern Alberta? Athabasca area. Can meet someone in Edmonton.
Open letter To: Danielle Smith, Premier and Leader of the Alberta Government Naheed Nenshi, NDP Leader and Leader of the Opposition Tommy Lukaszuk, Forever Canada Mitch Sylvestre, Alberta Prosperity Project
Premier Danielle Smith has, perhaps unknowingly, given Albertans a unique opportunity to ensure Alberta is treated with respect across Canada and that our concerns are finally addressed. Unlike Quebec’s independence referendum in 1995, Alberta now has the chance to create a true “win-win” situation — not only for Alberta, but potentially for Canada as well, if the country chooses to respond constructively.
If both sides continue promoting their positions the way they are now, I see only two possible outcomes. First, the Alberta Prosperity Project side wins, which would be a victory for both them and Alberta. Second, Forever Canada wins, which may be a victory for them, but would represent a loss for Alberta. By “loss,” I mean Alberta would remain stuck with the status quo — continuing to be treated as Ottawa’s stepping stone, with little meaningful influence over our own future.
But this first vote should not be about choosing between independence and remaining in Canada. It should be about Alberta standing up to Ottawa — a David versus Goliath moment. This vote is not only about Alberta; it is also about the future of Canada.
Some may ask how this could possibly work, or argue that it has never been done before. My answer is simple: we must set aside our personal feelings and political divisions for the greater good — to save Alberta first, and hopefully help save Canada second.
If Albertans unite and vote to trigger an independence referendum, Alberta will gain significant leverage and negotiating power. Such a strong show of force would compel Ottawa to respond — or, more accurately, to clean up its act and seriously address the concerns facing both Alberta and Canada.
Because a referendum cannot be held within a year of a general election, and the next federal election is scheduled for October 2027, the earliest a referendum could take place would be the spring of 2028. This would give Alberta approximately 18 months to negotiate with Ottawa and the rest of Canada. How those negotiations unfold would ultimately help Albertans decide how they should vote in the spring of 2028.
Hi there ,

Hi Cory
Just making sure. I donated $50 today and on your video you said $50 and below no problem and in another part you said $50 and above you need my address and phone number. If you need that info not a problem but I just wanted to make sure.
Thanks and keep up the good work
Hi Doug. It’s for $50 and above so we should be OK. Sorry for the mixed messaging.
I wasn’t totally sure myself at first.
There is a billboard along Highway 21 in Fort Saskatchewan where a sign would look great. This one appears to be a Selkirk Signage company out of Calgary. Will it be possible to have one here?
Thank you.

Oops, It looks like this form is missing!
Is there another way to put in a request? Or another meet up in the Calgary area to grab one? Thanks!
H Donette,
the form to fill out for a sign can be found here: https://pathway-to-independence.square.site/
Thanks.
Hi, Cory.
You kindly gave me a couple of dozen signs at the Canyon Meadows event on June 23rd. Thank you. I did manage to get some to a few neighbours but have ~ a dozen left if anyone in the SW part of Calgary would like to swing by to get one. Too, I’ll happily deliver to anyone (in Evergreen / Shawnessy / Bridlewood) who isn’t mobile.
Feel free to publish my email address if you like.
Is there any cost to you to process donations made by credit card?
There is a bit of a fee. E-transfer is the most cost effective way to contribute.
I love the signs. Was just thinking they could be way more effective if they had personalized reasons for supporting independence. Such as “for my children’s future” or “for my retirement” or whatever the common reasons are. Could even have one that says “ask my why I support Alberta independence”
